rough pocket BAD

I have an odd shaped part with pockets all over, varius height walls and different thickness floors, not a real complicated part. When I try to rough it with the Surface Rough Pocket toolpath it makes several moves straight across the part through walls, containment baounderies or whatever. I've been using this toolpath for this type of work since I discovered it in V9, is it screwed up in X2? or what am I missing somewhere (maybe a little box to check "Do not scrap part"). Also, is there some way to make Rough Pocket pick up and re-enter when it pockets out in a different area of a large odd-shaped pocket instead of slotting over to a new 'center'?

I had that same problem in X when it first came out but it was fixed after mr1. I haven't installed X2 yet (waiting for update release) but you might want to send a zip to go to CNC's qc department. That's what I did before. Sure hope this isn't an issue again as I use that toolpath alot too.

The places that drive straight through stuff do show up in backplot and in verify. I have couldn't wait for an answer so I have already driven some other toolpaths. I may try Area Clearance and se if I like it better. But I'd still like to find an answer. I will turn it in to MasterCam later today.

I have scrapped trying to make Pocket Rough work on this thing and am using HST Rough Area, which is working better anyway. I have tried everything you guys suggested to no avail. The only thing I did discover was that if I set the maximum depth cut higher the toolpath does not make the bad moves. I am assuming that one or more of the surfaces below a certain Z depth is 'bad' in some way (could be wrong normal but I'm disinclined to check 783 surfaces). I'm not going to waste any more time than I already have. Thanks for the suggestions.
