New free Chooks from Verisurf

 

Thanks to Colin for this great idea

 

This new Notepad function allows you to keep notes available at all times. It supports copy and paste and can stay open and on top of Mastercam. You can also keep part notes that will be saved in the MCX file.

 

 

 

 

It gets installed with the free Hole-Axis Chook.

Hi I was wondering I am new to MC is verisurf a secondary program that you have to purchase from your reseller? Or is it some software that i can download and use while running MC? Seems like it has some things that work nice with MC!

It (Verisurf) is a 3rd Party Add-On to Mastercam. Ernie out of the kindness of his heart kicks us cool FREE Utilities (C-Hooks) every once and a while that are VERY helpful.

 

The full Version of Verisurf costs extra.

I am running X2 and I got an error message when I opened up Mastercam, after installing it.

John, This was in the next entry, now it works

 

 

FWIW, I was able to use Notepad on X2 by renaming 2VScene.ft and HoleAxis.ft

to 2VScene.ft.bak and HoleAxis.ft.bak to supress the errors at startup.

That was not supposed to happen.

 

If you edit the verisurf.menu located in the chooks folder, delete or change the TITLE line.

After installing I get this error when opening MCAM:

unable to open resource module Chooksverisurfreverse.dll

I have that error too. The c-hook seems to have corrupted our Verisurf Reverse install but the note pad works well! . I have an e-mail in to Ernie about it.
