best graphcs card

i have a nvidia Geforce FX 5200 128MC CARD

and x3 is running slow and dose not look very good what are some of you using?

I'm pretty sure the FX-1500 has been replaced

by the FX1700.. pound for pound the FX-1700

is probably the best value in a Quadro card..

I run Quadro FX-3450 cards, but I get them in

Dell workstation purchased through the Outlet

Store and don't pay anywhere near reatail for them

I recently bought a laptop with a GeForce 9600M

gaming card.. Its got some issues but that may be the Vista OS.. all in all it works pretty well

though at 30% the price of a Quadro

I have the 3450 and the 1700 both work really well. faster processing from the 3450 that has 256 ram compared to the 1700 with 512 ram. but in this case its it the processor speed on the card.

 

if you want a really nice card but must open the wallet would be the Quadro FX 5800 with 4 gig ram.

 

but really the 1700 is a good place to be.
