X4 - What is this?

Pretty happy with X4 so far, but all my files are showing this blue circle, and I don't know what it is, or how to get rid of it. The attached screenshot is from a new file. I haven't done anything other than open the level manager to show that there are no entities.

I haven't installed yet but look in your config to see if there's a check box to turn it off.

It actually isn't a circle. Notice there are no entities in the file.

I would call your reseller or contact QC about that, because I haven't seen that. It may be your puter.

Seriously though. There are some display checkboxes in the config. You'd have to look through them to see if you can find anything related. Maybe you haven't had a definitive response because nobody else has seen it yet.

Does this only show up when you display your Axis (F9) or is it always there? You can always try backing up your .CONFIG file and then removing it and start Mastercam to create a default CONFIG file and do a compare to see if there is a setting not set by default that might be causing it but it doesn't ring a bell.

After restarting my computer, this anomaly has disappeared

All I need to add you to the beta program is a referral from your reseller and you will have to keep current with Maintenance because there are no unique beta codes, it is all tied to maintenance.

 

Have your reseller send an E-Mail to [email protected] and have him include all your contact information and we will get you out the paperwork.
