This does not apply to users of XP, so if you're running XP please don't tell me it looks OK, I know it does wink.gif

If you use Vista, when you go into the FBM/FBD dialogs.

Do you see the icons across the top of the Menu Box?

Please let me know if you do or don't.

If you do, can you please attach your settings?

What screen resolution are you running?

Video Card?

Which flavor of Vista?

Mastercam X3 and/or X4?

John, Try setting your colors to 16 bit. It seems to help many other issues with MC in Vista.

BINGO!! Rob

Now, it is NOT a Vista issue, I am CONVINCED it its because of the way Mastercam interfaces with Vista graphically.

I don't lose graphics in "other" CAD/CAM programs ONLY Mastercam.

Sorry, this makes it a Mastercam issue, not a Vista issue.

I concur. I've used a bunch of other CAD software, from AutoCAD, SW, UGNX, Pro-E, etc., and none is as graphically picky as MCAM. Our PCs are provided by GE, and in their infinite wisdom the installed graphics cards always stumble when using MCAM. I've had to cry, b!tch, moan and plead to get our IT department to replace the "stock" cards with ones more compatible with MCAM. As a cost-saving measure we're using Quadro FX1500s in our GE-provided, HP8400 workstations running XP.
