one step delete

was over here working on my X2 and started wondering:

 

does it still take an act of congress to delete a layer or is there a simple delete button in X4?

A layer? Do you mean a level...as in all the entities on a particular level? Or just their names?

X4 lets you delete levels.

yes i meant level - accidentally used rhino terminology - i would like to simply select a level and obliterate it as if it, its name, and anything on that level never existed. i don't want to have to go and delete everything on that level first and make sure that the # of entities is zero.

yes.. you can also cut/copy/paste between levels on the Level Manager..

If you have a bunch of empty levels, there is a Purge command that strips all the empty levels

out of the manager

Thats handy. I have always clicked on an empty

level and deleted the name close/open and then it

would be a goner.

Plus you can renumber levels.

Wow. Talk about functionality. Imagonna buy me 20 seats right now before it changes in the next MU. Better idea. Just open up some large files and the levels empty asap, just ask Rickster how its done.
