It's not a show stopper, but if I change the comment on any op, it will certainly go dirty. This part contains ops programmed in X4 and MU1.

Thanks guys. I'll take a look at them as soon as they come in. Does it seem to be only 2D operations, or HST, or all operations? I've tried with a 2D contour and a 3D HST operation, and no luck.

It happens to my 2d toolpaths, HST's, but not the Surface Finish Contour.

It has done this since X2 (no mr'S) for me.

 

Even in X4 I opened the parameter page and 'did

nothing', hit check it goes dirty occasionally.

Hit the 'x' and not dirty.

If i sent in all the files that did this, It would

be about 100 files and 500+ gigabytes worth of data.

 

One good thing is that when it happens just from

changing comments, the toolpath regen at 1/10 of

the time it originally took...still a PITA though

 

Sometimes it happens just changing either, just the

feed or speed or both. (but not as often as other

times)

Rickster, this is more in regard to MU1. Did you install it yet? So far it's been WAY more stable for me.

Yes, installed it a few hours ago.

 

It fixed my gouging on verify in pencil cuts, update tool issue, repaired nci,

invalid arcs on backplot and my verify looks 5 times smoother than normal.(so far so good)

 

I happened in X4 with no 'MU1' also.

 

Weather it is in regard to the MU1 or not it has

not been addressed since I started using MC.

 

I will let you know if and when it happens to me

in X4 MU1 personally.

 

I cant remember it not happening at least once for every job I have change the comments. Its

very intermittent.

Chris and I have verified that the ops go dirty by just opening the parameters on a toolpath and clicking the green check. It has nothing to do with changing or adding a comment. It only takes a few seconds to regen the dirty op. It is logged as a bug and assigned a number. Thank you for looking into this Chris!!!
