Verisurf said the X6 version of their free Mastercam toolkit was several months out too. ( and I sure do miss it !!!!)

The reason given was all the new code in the x64 version...

Just a guess, but I'll bet Vericut is facing similar issues

I contacted CGTech today to ask about the Vericut interface for X6.

the reply was , sometime in the next few months.

I almost fell over laughing when I read this. I guess CGTech isn't in much of a hurry to do anything where Mastercam is concerned.

Not that I blame them much either.

You would think that if they were serious about supporting MC users they would have a usable version for X6 out at virtually the same time, but then again, that would require communication between CNC and CGTech, and it doesn't look like that's happening.

Too funny.

The Mastercam X6 interface is a top priority. As is finishing up the Espirit interface, the Surfcam interface, and the Catia V6 interface. With any luck, they will all make it into the 7.2 release. And to find out when version 7.2 will be released, you will have to show up to the annual VERICUT User Exchange March 5, 2012 in Irvine, CA. That is when I, and more than 100 VERICUT users, will hear about the projected release schedule for 7.2.
