Just heard from my brother and sister-in-law in Creedmoor,NC just outside Durham,NC and the storm is picking up pretty good there.

It is 4:30 now. I was just at a customers shop with Jimmy Wakeford, Bubba. My wife called and said trees were falling down around our house. Needless to say, I hurried home. She thought me and Jimmy were nuts going out in a storm. Hey, you just can't beat Barefoot CNC support .

 

Anywho...luckly none of the downed trees hit anything. We hear the worst is still to come . I am just thankful the storm died down before it got here. I am about 2 hours from the coast as the crow flies. Man, those poor people out there.

 

My wife just walked in and said the news is predicting 70 mph + winds within the hour. Great. I thought it was going away.

Phil....a few threads ago, I asked for the formula for figuring out the distance between the frets on a guitar and Trevor was nice enough to send me a chart.

Just some heavy downpours here in central CT. The wind isn't bad at all... Sunshine in the afternoon (so they say). Beautiful weekend ahead. Time to put some miles on the old Shovel before the snow comes .

We had some heavy rain, but it did not last long. For the most part, it was lite for most of the day. The winds were pretty "trippy". I have a bunch of crap to pick up in my yard this morning. Luckily no trees in my yard.

Last time a storm blew through Jacksonville our house was without power for 3 days. We had an artesian well and a propane gas grill. Hope all the people around there get things back to normal and to all of those that lost they have our prayers.
