  1. I got in contact with him after he removed the videos. He was starting a new job where they didn't want him posting anything online so he decided to make everything private on the channel. He was willing to sell the videos ,which I did buy, for about 100 dollars. I think it was a good value for in house training material for me and my guys as some of the subjects he covered I haven't seen covered anywhere else.

  2. A handy way to check whether it's possible to do things is to look at it from the front, switch to 2d mode, create curves on edges (your straight walls) and modify length to see if they intersect the origin. Obviously, on this part it's easy to visually see that it's not gonna happen, but I've seen parts where the wall was only off .5° or so, so it looked like it was possible until you really analyzed it: What Ron's saying, in this example, you have to treat anything between the orange and blue as an undercut feature, as if you were doing an undercut wall on a 3 axis machine.

  5. After the latest things Autodesk has done I know of some customers getting away from CAMplete and heading into different CAV directions. Other long time customers being offered it are getting CAMplete with new machine purchases to post NC Cdoe, but will be using other CAV since they offer comparison of the NC code back to the machined models to check for excess and gouges that CAMplete doesn't offer. Do I expect a mass exodus of customers no, but CAMplete like other purchased AD companies isn't what is use to be.

  6. The channel is still there and if you have a direct link to a video you can still view it. Seems the videos are all now 'unlisted'. So, that probably rules out anything coming from youtube and most likely it looks like a personal decision to unlist. Can only speculate as to the reason behind that....accidental, or otherwise. His content is great so hopefully it was just an accidental setting and things get sorted out soon.
