Excellent idea. The way it works now I find it easier to edit the code than to use change at point for many things. quote: Select the geometry Right click select "Options" Change feed... Now, that would be nice. That would be very nice.

If you use create rectangular shapes you have many more option available for shape, location, and angularity.

Cuda84 Click on the only display selected toolpaths button. select first op only. use the arrow key to step through all your ops until the one you want shows. I'd like to have change NC filename, change program number, renumber tools and renumber tool offsets all in one dialog box so they can all be changed at once

Changing the linearization tolerance of the contour helps greatly with the accuracy also.

Welcome Norm. We have a fanuc 6M here which I think is the same control. The Parameter switch on ours is an actual switch on the motherboard, not a parameter. I have a manual, though its missing the first 84 pages and possibly some of end -
If you're refering to the bolt circle in the drill point selection box. Yes, it does do that and it is sort of annoying. I had forgotten that was there, I've always used the create bolt circle command then selected the points.

You'd probably be better off buying a serial port card ($10-$30). I had no luck with the USB to serial adapters.

Hi Sonny, I'll agree with that. I tried this out a while back with the same result as you. I just turned it off until it gets fixed. You can use the toolpath editor for better results.

It sounds like it could be a heat problem too. Make sure all your fans are working.

Check the operations needed on the first page of the transform menu.

It seems to be putting the radius on the end of the tool, not the corners like a bull mill. If you set the angle to 180 it is not possible to radius as the lines are parallel. It should'nt crash though
