I like wcs more and more as the newer versions of m-cam are released. I've leraned alot about it thru this forum and I'm sure Chris and Vince have helped me along the way too...and a little practice always helps.

Fixturing is key. I saw the part, just don't have time to play around with it, but from the looks of it, roughing time shouldn't be more than 10 minutes.

You will have to manually *adjust* the mechanism that tells the machine that the door is closed. The machine manufacturer will not tell you this.

Perhaps a hydrolic die cart would work?

One way would be to set the origin color to the same color as your background. Not sure if there is a setting somewhere that allows that or not.

WCS and toolplane are correct.

In a 2D contour, one of my operations has the depth choice in the linking parameters grayed out...anyone know why it's like this? All other contours in my toolpaths are not like this.

You should be able to inside * edit common parameters*.

In regards to the job openings/employee searches that are listed all the time...does anyone think it would be better if there were a dedicated forum for this purpose? Anyone from IHS care to respond?

The machine doesn't have metric capabilities? What you posted sounds like the best idea...unless you have someone that can redo the prints into english(seems like a waste of time).
