“ The spindle will start by itself. It will actually run faster because it will come to a stop before it starts the tapping cycle if you turn it on at the beginning.” What do you mean when you say “spindle will run faster”?
I think he meant that the program runs faster that way. if you put S200 M3 in a different line than M29, the spindle will rev to S200 and come to a hold and start the rigid tapping.
We have been running two of our machines with usb/com adaptors almost a year now and have had no problems. Dont remember the name right now but those cost about 20 euros.
I tried it and no effect. Also if I try to go to rmb settings page, it crashesh and trows me out of mastercam. I cant send the error message to CNC- software because I dont have internet connection in that computer.
I have a simple program that I use frequently that has some drilling and contouring in it. Today I added a contour toolpath that makes a chamfer to the part. Now when I choose all toolpaths and post it, the new toolpath doesnt post. If I post only that toolpath, it works. Everything looks fine in backplot. I guess it has something to do with MD. The original program was done before I updated to MR1. Could that mess it somehow?
Also if you use arrow keys to play the backplot, it always jams the first time and I have to mouse click the vcr bar again to get it work. Little things but annoying because it worked before..
Is it even possible to update X demo? I tried to, but doesnt seem to work. I sometimes try stuff with it at home and it is really frustraiting to use because of all the bugs and crashes.
