In a nut shell, I just xform copied the geometry 4 times and chained it 4 times. I drilled deep enough for 4.5 parts bored them and turned the o.d. part off, turn o.d., part off, turn o.d. and part off. I left .01 on the part off side to finish on a second op.
A simple O.D. groove, just like ive done a million times and I keep getting a warning saying Cant find intersections. Ive never seen this before. Anybody know where I'm dropping the ball?
Thank you Mark. I rotated everything 90° and re-chained it all, now it works much better.
This is my secong program for this machine, so I gots lots to learn. Thanks again.
I am having an issue with the C axis rotating during a milling operation. The C axis does not need to rotate and I have set the axis control to NO ROTATION. But it is rotating anyfrigginway.
Its just a simple cut from front view just going from right to left, no need to rotate at all.
What am I missing?
Ops 8-13 do it and makes no sense. Please advise. Thank you.

Ok, fair enough. Another question, How are we supposed to use the "stock model"? It seems to do absolutely nothing when I click on it to transform or rotate it into position so the next operation.
Thanks.
So what are good questions for the "Educational Forum"?
I went to school for Master Cam, they didn't even hint on lathe.
It was mostly about creating surfaces and milling.
I learned lathe by trial and error and help from the forum.
palr717,
Your problem is in your rough parameters, check your plunge parameters.
Thanks Kenneth, I'm curious , why is the stock on lathe so much more usable than mill? The lathe stock preview is excellent!
I hope the developers will make some progress on this, it would be a huge time saver.
