  1. CAMmando, Yes you are correct. It works the same way on my system .
  2. MetalFlake We used to use the same tape as you have only in .010 thick it worked very good. We used to clean the table with acetone and that is how we got it off also.
  3. Yes we ram save covert splines toarcs and delete duplicate entities.
  4. Kathy, We have files over 100megs a lot but our biggest one is 251megs. We do all mold work.
  5. Jon, welcome to the forum. try using an x_t file from solid works
  6. Nick, #4 seems to be the way to go, can you adjust the step overs to get rid of the nubs. Tom

  11. No I don't. I shut down Mastercam and I shut down my computer and it fixed it's self! Thanks for the help. Tom
  12. I have a solid mold I am 3d scalloping and when i run the scallop I get an error All Boundaries of a surface degenerate (it will not be fixed). press to continue. The bad part is this is the third toolpath I used the same solid to do. I am sorry I can not put the part on the FTP site Thank you for any help Tom
  13. lou, We have three seats of level 3 and we wanted to do the same thing, so I talked to cimco and they cut me a good deal on all 3 seats. Tom

  16. tony, when the guy dim. it he was in horizontal and he should had it in vertical! it is the dim. between the two bores. tom
  17. I forgot to tell you when you draw cutter you draw 1/2 of the cutter with center line in middle.
  18. code_breaker, draw cutter and save as mc9 to right of center line tip at X0,Y0 get new file with blank screen nc utils def. tool current right click in box create new tool click on undefined click on custume file & get file saved in mc.9 go to param page under comment name tool & give tip dia. click save to library. if you have any truble let me know Tom
