  1. I actually have no idea what is included. He asked me for suggestions on new machinery and what we would need and all that, then he turned around and bought something completely different without even bothering to tell me. I only found out about the damn thing after the order was placed and signed for. I am pretty sure he got screwed on the deal too.
  2. I have to agree, the Boss dropped 400k on this thing, and they charge extra for a CAD model for it? Thats just ridiculous.
  3. Well like the title says, I am looking for a model for a Matsuura MX520 5-Axis. We just bought the thing so instead of jumping through hoops with the dealer I figured I would see if anyone has one they would like to share. Thanks in advance !
  4. I just tried that myself. Pretty cool
  5. Sorry, thats not working out for me either. Anything else I could do?
  6. OMG, this has just happened to me and it is driving me friggin crazy. I can"t seem to get my operations manager back to normal after it went full screen for some reason. Anyone got any ideas how to get it back to it's original state?
  7. WCS and how they relate to planes and construction. I actually still don't fully comprehend them actually, in regards to 5-Axis programming.
  8. Good luck with that. Apparently decent programmers are a much sought after commodity in the GTA area. I hope you are willing to pay for them.
  9. Any time I ever got a print with missing information I just gave it back to engineering and had them give me a revised one. Assume nothing, question everything is my motto.
  10. I recently upgraded to X6 MU2, and now when I post I get this weird error (it says tapping here, but basically it happens with everything drilling, reaming and tapping) It says regenerate the toolpath, but if I just hit ok it posts out anyways. I can't seem to find anything wrong in the code when Ilook at it either. Any ideas about whats up here. Thanks
  11. 1. Better Toolpath verification and gouge checking to the model would be nice. 2. Better solid chaining 3. Better Stock Model re-machining 4. Less Bugs 5. Oh, and not having to "simplify" splines just so I can get a decent toolpth would be nice
  12. Persoanlly I have found most QC guys to be some of the laziest and most unknowledgable people in the industry, with the rare exception of a couple here and there. Bottom line is, if they are properly trained QC people they will use either 3 wire method or an outside made thread guage. Thread mics are for rough checking only.
  13. Windows 8 was made specifically for touchscreen systems I hear. They are betting the farm that everyone is going to be moving over to tablets in the very near future and ditching their "antiquated" desktops and laptops. Good for the welfare collecting yuppies, not so much for anyone that wants to actually work.
  14. Are you kidding ? I always run an Nvidia on my home systems and it rocks on games. I much prefer their cards over ATI. I always found them to be a bit buggy.
  15. I found that every CAD/CAM pakage I have used has issues with ATI cards. I have no idea why this is, and I have never really cared enough to find out either. I just always replaced them with a good Nvidia card.
  16. 80K? I make almost that now with a little bit of overtime. Not exactly the "6 figures" you were talking about.
  17. 6 figures for a multiaxis guy eh? Thats pretty good, I have multiaxis prototype and production aerospace experience. What would that get me? And whats the cost of living like out that way?
