what drivers would need being updated, my understanding this is a windows 10 issue coming from the last update. I'm part of a cooperate company and cannot stop the updates from being installed.
I'm waiting on my reseller to respond to the issue now.
was doing an install of 2021 today and got a popup telling me I can't run the Aladdin hasp on my windows 10 updated computer. is there a work around to this yet.
Thanks
I mostly do 3+2 machining on the 5 axis. im trying to just do a simple face cut but have limited travel on x axis so i want to rotate the part to do it on the y axis. i set up a t/c plane from the center of rotation and in graphics it shows right but wont post out correctly. its in the top plane and mastercam overrides the tc plane and posts it out on the x axis. is there any way to to get this to post out correctly. im using X9.
Thanks

no im looking for direct Z plunge like a drilling cycle. picking the outer diameter and setting a step-over distance or percentage. this might have gone back to version 9.
So its been a long time since i used it but remember a plunge milling cycle or c-hook for doing this. is this still avail and where is it. using X9 now. would appreciate any help on this.
Thanks
In the pictures up above there is a 3d arcs check box in the filtering section. if i check it in my surfacing it wont stay checked and im getting facets i cant seem to get rid of. just doing flowline surfacing.
Just got a new large monitor and im wondering if you can move the bottom row icons over to the center or something like that. never thought of this until now.
MCX5 version
thanks everyone. i understand the needs of a computer. needed this to justify getting better. don't do mold making but do surfacing on a regular basis. what i have now is 10-12 yrs old and its killing me. well see.
Thanks

found the patch for the missing dll. tried to run the link file again. it cant find the nethasp through the network because of restrictions.
thanks to the person for refering MLC CAD. why is this so hard anymore.
If we had a reseller I would. No one local anymore.
Like I said I went to the Mastercam site and have a account. Tried to do the link and it won't load on my computer. So I have no access.
tried to download the linking prog from Mastercam. wont run on my computer, missing dll i think or computer restrictions. is there anyway to get the older maintenance release files. looking for X4 files.
Thanks
I was wondering where you can download older maintence updates like X5 mu1. this file was never downloaded and now i need it. it doesnt seem to be available on the mastercam site.
any help please.
Anyone have any info on this new machine. its a 3+2 machine and does not do full 5 axis yet. the company i work for is looking for info. just came out last year before IMTS. supposedly there a few companys in Chicago that have some.
solids does not cost that much, if you need to do the work it will pay for itself.
i just started using X6 a couple of months ago and ive been using FBM drill. really need it for multi axis drilling. it works pretty well for as little as i know about it right now. waiting on a reseller to get me the tutorial.
