  11. Hi all , I have question for 4-5 axis users . I tool maker and never used 4-5 axis programming on Mastercam . I trying to learn this field of programming now . I got file from http://www.emastercam.com/files/x2_45axis.html And to ruin backplot for file” tut_rotery_toolpath _x2 “ It does so many unacceptable things . 1 oper : drill 4 holes . Picture rotate -180 deg when I open backplot . If rapids visible it does some funny movements 2 opr : drill 8 holes Picture rotate -90 deg when I open backplot. Tool does Same funny movements also Anyone can explain me reason of this ? Is it possible to fix it ? Thank you in advance .

  13. Hi everybody , Thank you for response In ver 9 was two ways to convert spline to arc : "CONV to ARC" and :Break "spl to arc" .If one not working other does . In X "simplify" not always help. I used filter in Mastercam , not always help to . Also when i machine surfaces which represent arc with relatively big dia i have same (facets)diamond effect . I guess setting in control an issue . Now it reconstruct shape to precisely or so .
  14. Hi , We running Okuma VMC MC –v4020 . Control OSP –e100l Super HI-NC control . Machining mode – Standard. If geometry spline instead of arc surface finish look like kind of “diamond “. I guess this is wrong set up of ” reconstr shape” and filters . Somebody has this problem? How it was solved? Thank you in advance
