I used to drill a lot of delrin at my last job and i don,t miss the stuff one bit. We also had a lot of problems with speed/feed. I ended up going with Iscars chamdrill jet with a IDN grade insert.
from memory we were running a 10mm drill at 180M/Min ,0.25 -0.6MM. I,ve never tryed them on copper so i,m not sure how they would go.

Rule #1: Don't ask for a Post Processor.
Ask this question as your first message here and you won't necessarily like the responses you receive. The eMastercam.com Lynch Mob is on much higher alert than you could ever imagine.
Look to your reseller to supply you with the proper post for your machine, or quote for the work that needs to be done.
If you have something and are looking for improvements, it's a reasonable request. Maybe tell us why the post you have needs improvement.
Perhaps try to participate a bit on the Forum before you go asking for something. Not unlike Habitat for Humanity, we value Sweat Equity here. Quid pro quo, Clarice.
You may also want to let everyone know your company name so that your Hotmail or Yahoo email account doesn't give everyone the impression that you aren't a licensed Mastercam user.
Welcome to the forum Tom

Try your Sandvik rep. They used to pick up at my last place and were able to get a good price for it. From memory it was about $ 4.00per kg but you had to have a min. of 25 kg.

Sandvik have a new range of solid carbide milling cutters just for Al there Helix is 30 degrees and 13 degrees rake and there all 2 flutes.
i have just started to use these and they are a great cutter.Excellent surface finish. If they last as long as their other aluminium grade cutters, they will be worth the extra money.
Hey Bruce. Do you know anyone from E.G.R Plastics up there?.

i was lucky that when i started my trade and went to school, Aussie,s (roy23. ) were still getting used to metric but still teaching in inch. My first place of employment was a U.K. owned company. So all the drawing,s coming over were in inch. The biggest problem i had over the years were the operators converting tolerences for their offsets. The amount of stuff ups and scrapped parts over the years was beyond a joke.
If your tools are inch, programme in inch. If your measuring equipment is inch, i could not understand why your boss would be asking you to change in the first place
The "just do it" attitude sucks.
Lee.k White is on the right track.Document your conversation with him and look at it as a learning curve. If it goe,s the way that everyone here is saying, you will have something to fall back on. But with the sound of his attitude. He has already made up his mind
Good luck Mate

At that point it is a good idea for the normal person to not stand between the engineer and the problem. The engineer will set upon the
problem like a starved Chihuahua on a pork chop
LMFAO Thanks Kevin

Good morning everybody
I worked at a Chain and Gearbox company for 16 years. We supplied a lot of the Mines and also a lot of sugercane chains(Begasse Chains). We made chains for go,carts all the way up to 21.0" pitch chain for B.H.P. which they used for throwing the billets into the rollers. We also made the hyd. units for the Telescopic light towers at Adelaide oval.
I have been working here at Confoil for the last 2 years machining and assembling the press tools to punch out our Aluminium containers. If your have ever flown with Quantas Airlines you have Eaten out of one of our containers. We also make the McDonalds muffin wraps, The little gold cat and dog food containers used by Sheba and Uncle Bens. And most of the foil containers used in Aus. Another part of our company is Dualpak containers. These are a cardboard container which are microwave and oven proof.
