You will have to use IE to access it. If you still have problems, do a serch on FTP Site. There has been a ton of threads with all the problems solved in them. One of the most common is-
Internet options / Avanced Tab / uncheck " Use Passive FTP"

Only other thing i can think of mig is that if the spindle was rotating before without a tool, the spindle clamp proxy switch may have been sending the wrong message to the contoller all this time, Thus this is why you have be able to rotate the spindle without a tool it it.
I tryed it on my 3 year old MB56VA, OSP100E controller just before i left work and there was still no alarm coming up. Can i ask why you want to run the machine without a tool in it?.

I thought it was a no no to start spindles without a tool in them??? Happens on most Okuma controls that i have run, but does not show an alarm to tell you not to do it.

Just depends on how you apply yourself. And to what you are good at.
Good Morning
I have contacted my reseller about a X Demo disk. They do not know when they would be getting them over here. After looking at a few past posts i am aware that they had run out, but that was weeks ago. Can anyone give me some idea of when they will be shipping any demo disks over to Australia. The boss is jumping on me at the momment cause he wants to spend some money, but we need something to show the powers that be before we get the go ahead to purchase.
Thanks in advance
Darren

i have only seen this come across my computer once and it was not a file from MC9. It had something to do with Solid Edge Integration Service Pack 2. Are you running this?.
C.N.C. Software
After having a look at the “Introducing Mastercam X” link ,i,m going to spend the rest of the week sucking up to the boss to get the upgrade. And a big thankyou to all the beta testers that have copped so much crap along the way.
Job well done.
I get the same David. To fix it i do exactly what Jay said. Open your operations manager in all sessions of M/C and you should be able to download your emails as normal. I do this when tranfering from the FTP site or internet also.

Did you end up seeing much of X at the Austec Expo.?. All i got out of them was a short look at M/C Art. No use to me what so ever.
Glad you could drop in RandleX. Thanks for the input.

Is is an option. We had to buy one for a lathe at our last place and they ended up coming out and having to place a new board in the back of the m/c
