Hi All.
On one of our four workstations, when I change anything in screen configure and save a new .cfg
I get two errors:
Warning - error opening c:mcam9millopsdefaults.df9
and
Warning - error opening c:mcam9mil9.cfg
The changes take effect and all seems fine, I just don't know why the errors.
Version 9.1 SP2
Thanks
Keith
I gave up on importing UG or Ideas files. Way too many problems (intersections that aren't trimmed, holes between surfaces, etc.) Now they send me the wire frame and I create the solids.
It might be an IGES translation problem, I don't know. Can't get them to pay for a parasolid translator.

Scott, If the boss won't spring for the training, see if he will pony up $1500. for the triple diamond partnreship program. I've never waited more than 20 minutes for a call back from MC Machinery, and they will spend as much time on the phone as you need to solve any problem you may have.

Don't know if they can help, but they should be able to put you on the right track.

On our Mitz, if you are cutting with the land down, your land height would be .25". Z0 is always the table, and all Z heights are posative from there. HTH

Welcome to the forum.

I suggest calling your Mastercam dealer and asking him to come by, he should be happy to make a pitch to the boss AND he can help you with some questions.
+1 Bernie,
Sounds like you've been kicked head first into the fire. How many .pst files do you have on your pewter? Are you using the correct one for your machine tool? Your MC Dealer can make sure that you are using the correct one, and answer most, if not all of your questions in a short time.
