look for this is the post
drop_offset : 0 #Drop offset at end of tool? 0 = no, 1 = yes
to drop offset at end of operation
to get long hand cycles
go into the machine def
edit the control def
machine cycles
lathe drill cycles
un check the ones that you want long hand
dont use the back or bottom toolplanes. make new planes with new geometry with the x axis pointing the right direction. back and bottom have the x pointing the opposite direction
Have you tried using the WCS function to move the view to the part. this way you do not have to move the geometry at all. search for WCS and you will find a wealth of info.
hope this helps
in the latest mpmaster this switch will do exactly that
tseqno : 0 #Output sequence number at toolchanges when omitseq = yes
#0=off, 1=seq numbers match toolchange number, 2=seq numbers match tool number
in your second operation when you pick your surfaces make sure that when prompted for the lower rail you actually pick the lower rail. if you pick the top geometry it will flip the tool over thinking that the top is the bottom. hope that makes sense
set paramters to what you want
first page of toolpath parameters, right click in white area and "save parameters to default file"
do it for each toolpath type
rename your C:McamXconfigmcamx.config and C:McamX-MR2configmcamxm.config files and try restarting. this will make default config automatically. If that works open your renamed mcamx.config or mcamxm.config and look for long file paths. erase (or change them to short file paths) them and try again
