  1. look for this is the post drop_offset : 0 #Drop offset at end of tool? 0 = no, 1 = yes to drop offset at end of operation to get long hand cycles go into the machine def edit the control def machine cycles lathe drill cycles un check the ones that you want long hand
  2. ask your reseller for an eval and try it out
  3. dont use the back or bottom toolplanes. make new planes with new geometry with the x axis pointing the right direction. back and bottom have the x pointing the opposite direction
  4. you can do that now if you purchase the prodrill add on
  5. Have you tried using the WCS function to move the view to the part. this way you do not have to move the geometry at all. search for WCS and you will find a wealth of info. hope this helps

  7. what about using zigzag in the roughing options and make sure that your plunge parameters are set correctly.
  8. in the latest mpmaster this switch will do exactly that tseqno : 0 #Output sequence number at toolchanges when omitseq = yes #0=off, 1=seq numbers match toolchange number, 2=seq numbers match tool number
  9. in your second operation when you pick your surfaces make sure that when prompted for the lower rail you actually pick the lower rail. if you pick the top geometry it will flip the tool over thinking that the top is the bottom. hope that makes sense
  10. i am not in front of mastercam...but..under the edit menu i thnk it is break drafting into entities. that will allow you to use contour toolpath
  11. WOW small world i was born and raised in bedford, mind u a long time ago.
  12. you might have a y axis value entered in the home or reference position
  13. set paramters to what you want first page of toolpath parameters, right click in white area and "save parameters to default file" do it for each toolpath type
  14. what if you click the exclamation mark in the auto cursor bar and say disable all. that will disable it
  15. XFORM--->PROJECT will allow you to squash geometry to a z level, plane or surfacces
  16. rename your C:McamXconfigmcamx.config and C:McamX-MR2configmcamxm.config files and try restarting. this will make default config automatically. If that works open your renamed mcamx.config or mcamxm.config and look for long file paths. erase (or change them to short file paths) them and try again

  19. is there a function lock (F-LOCK) that is turned off
  20. it is a c-hook rast2vec.dll
  21. did you check to see if the arc output in the CD arc section was set to radius instead of delta start to center
