  1. I finally beat James to the response on something I would like to see some of the problems you are having with V9. Would it be possible to email me some more information about the problems? How do I duplicat problems. Rather than list everything I like about v9 I will just ask you to check out 3 functions. new toolpath, surface, finish, project, blend. The EA manager New verify V9 lathe also has many new features. If anyone is interested I can email you a doc file. "Whats new in v9.doc". I would like to have people who like v9 to add to this thread. We are always looking for input from users about how we can ehance our product. Please forward any ideas or problems to mastercam. [email protected] or [email protected]
  2. I get the same thing. I'll talk to the post guys and get back to you
  3. I will email you the document "whats new in v9". This will give some indication of the advantages from v8 but it will not show the changes since v7. Hey James..relax a little bit will ya. You should be selling mastercam.

Im want some real user feedback that will help me anwer the question.. I have 8 why should I get 9? There is nothing more boring than a canned response from someone. I don't want anyone to think Im a smoothie Im more of an extra chunky.

  9. Thanks for the input Hey James, I had a 4 door 5 speed chevette diseal (diesal, disell?) It was battleship grey. It got about 100 miles to the gallon and couldn't go up hill. But once you got it up to 40mph look out. I had to buy a 340 duster just to detox myself form the experience of owning the car. Greg
  10. anyone out there using an elsa synergy3d on 98. Im talking to a customer in England with cursor difficulty. has already tried all easy fixes. Just looking for someone with same card in same OS Greg
  11. This is Greg in Tech Support@mastercam I cannot dupilicate this problem? Is it posible that this is related to the post you are ysing in lathe? Try changing to mplfan and see what happens If the problem persists I suggest sending an email to [email protected]. Be sure to explain problem and include all files needed to duplicate problem I used a 450 running 2000 to check v8.11 lathe

  13. James, I talked to Ray C. and he says that it is hardcoded into the mill*.exe file. Hows everything going in your new location? Greg

  16. Nick, Lets take this offline zip your psdt and mc8 and email them to me Greg
  17. Charlie, I am going to guess that the message you are getting is mp.dll not found. The problem is that the system is looking for mpparam.dll in the main v8 directory. If you cannot find the file I can email it to you. Greg
  18. I have forwarded your question to R. taft in the post department

  21. shaun, not really enough information here to tell. but if you are using version 8 you can try to enablre the filer function. this will create arcs through linear moves based on tolerance. send me the file I can probasably give you some ideas for producing a better finish [email protected]
  22. yes, use the chook thelix for the spring pitch create an arc tangent to the helix create a swept surface using the arc and the helix I'll email you a simple one Greg
  23. 8.1 will be a free upgrade for customers who have version 8. Due to the size of the new files for converters (parasld)and other things I don't think we can make it a patch It will be available as a CD check the forum I wll let you know when it is available Greg
