  1. You should be able to change planes by hitting the planes button on the bottom of the screen. IIRC a default can be defined in the general machine properties on the machine definition.
  2. Just to verify we are both talking about the same thing...
  3. IIRC after you install X+ you have to right click in a blank area of the tool-bars & customize. You should have a X+ category & just drag & drop your desired functions into a new toolbar. HTH
  4. I was able to associate .nc files with Cimco on Win 7/64 without issue. I would try... Hit the windows button, in the search bar search for Default Programs >> Associate a file type & see if will change there.
  5. or just type regedit in the search bar at the bottom of the start menu.
  6. I use Drop Box to send a file like that. Just upload the file to your public folder and send a link for them to download it.
  7. On Fanuc controls a G10 L50 statement can often be used for changing parameters. http://www.machinetoolhelp.com/Applications/G10_statement.html G10L50;(Parameter input mode ON)
  8. In back plot hit the (blue) down arrow & it's on the info tab
  9. When in trim / extend there are two icons towards the right that control either trim (what you are asking for) or break which is what you're seeing
  10. Your circle starts at the end of the line (at 0°) if the line is like a center line on that circle (ends at that quadrant).
  11. IIRC I just went into the axis combinations in the machine def & unchecked the fixture/holder & A axis boxes and checked the Mill machine table to go from a 4 axis to a 3. HTH
  12. Can anyone translate a CATPart file into something I can get into MCX5? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17417379/9200-050-326.zip
  13. IIRC right click in the left pane. :Edit: It might be a windows 7 thing I seem to remember another thread discussing this subject.
  14. I would try Reset Status bar pane contents in Control Panel App
  15. The only thing I see there is your tool is already spinning M03 & mine is M04. The file is NDC12560X14200X3750_3PC54830P1.Z2G in the X5_files folder. Thanks for the help.
  16. I tried stopping the tool short of X0 with the same results, it also happens with the unedited MPLFAN post so I'm thinking it's a MasterCam thing & not the post or the posts share the same bug(??) G97 S400 M04 G0 G54 X1.4336 Z-1.607 G50 S1000 G96 S150 G1 X.25 F.002 M05 G96 S500 M03 X.006 F.001 G0 X1.465

  18. I am trying to use the new lathe feature to change the speed / feed on lathe cutoff operations. Using the mplmaster machine definition / post which I just downloaded last week the feed changes fine but the spindle reverses direction at the specified radius. Does anyone else see this issue?
  19. Maybe look for a newfs function associated with the toono variable?
  20. I think you need to format your variable, toolno in my post, to force the 4 digit output. code: fs2 7 4 0 4 0l #Integer, force four leading code: fmt T 7 toolno #Tool number HTH
