What I found Googling
"You need software to read Mazatrol on a PC... MazaCam, MatrixCam, Camware, Griffo Bros., .. etc.
But, if you output the program with the control screen button "TEXT FORMAT" highlighted, it outputs as Mazatrol G code and you can read that on any text editor like G-code editors, Notepad, Wordpad, MS Word, etc, etc, etc... The code format is called 3 Digit G code and you can decipher it by looking it up in the Mazazatrol Programming book under "3 Digit G Format"...."
There is an offline viewer listed at http://victoriacaruk.com/Vici-Integrex-Utilities.html , no idea if it works.

There are 2 different standards to define which way a part is rotated to go from view to view. In X7 it's labeled layout method you can choose between ANSI & DIN. That would be my guess.
Note: Solid layout only works in TOP view so however you model is situated in MCs TOP view is what is being laid out.
I found this ... http://www.emastercam.com/board/topic/73239-8-digit-file-names-on-fanuc-31i-a5/ @ post 11 seems to be an issue with the filename extension.
We use the WinLine driver to plot to an old CalComp pacesetter plotter. In X8 I get no output to the plotter, no error code just an end of file on the plotter, the same file will plot just fine in x7. I would have thought that with a Windows driver any printer that worked in X7 should work in X8. Anyone have any ideas?
IF everything in your posted code is good (G2 & G3 for example) look for this in your post
dia_mult : 2 #Multiplier for output on X axis (Neg. switches sign of X)
& add or remove the negative (-) sign to switch the x output.

I know to get a useabe code 39 barcade you have to add an asterisk to the beginning & end of your text but I have not been able to figure the code 128 out. I would appreciate the excel file.

The version I have on the 30 demo license is 7.01.09 (Downloaded aprox 1 1/2 weeks ago). I have a tool that will display the code synced but I can't edit it (Synced pic) & I can get Cimco to display my program synced only at the "!" operator but the machine (Citzen Cincom A20 - VII) also syncs on G6XX commands & when I try to set that up(setup pic) the G6XX commands hylight but don't sync (Cimco pic). I have also attached a small program if that in any helps.
Thanks
Chuck

Thanks. I have the channels separated $1 & $2, but what I was hoping to find was a way to enter more than one sync code. I can get Cimco to sync the channels with the "!" operator but the machine also syncs on G6XX I haven't been able to get it to sync on those at all yet, I can get it to highlight the Gcodes while in the channel windows but not sync the code to visually indicate what is happening when on the front & back spindles.
For any of you Cimco gurus I was looking at the Jay' site regarding the difference between versions & 7 pro has a Multi Channel feature. Is there a way to have more than 1 sync code. I'm looking at programs for our new swiss turn which syncs with a few Gcodes & !. Ive been playing around with it & having zero luck.
We just purchased a new Citizen / Cincom A20-VII swiss lathe & I'm looking into programming options. The machine has x, y, z, & c axes on the main and x, z, & c on the sub spindle. I'm waiting on a quote from my MC reseller & I have requested a quote from PartMaker, is there anyone else I should consider? Everyone I've talked with locally uses Partmaker & seem happy with it. Is anyone using MCs Swiss Expert?
I don't really use Windows 8 but for what it's worth my understanding of the different levels of support (regular / extended) is that when regular support ends no more development will be done on that platform (i.e. you won't get the next version of IE), extended support would include bug fixes & security patches.
My guess would be not to use a period in the file name. If this is the problem, you should be able to rename the file to "whatever.mcx-7" & it would open.
