Enter degrees, minutes & seconds

Hi All-

A few months ago, there was a topic on entering angles as degrees-minutes-seconds, not as decimals. There were symbols that were used and MasterCam converted these automatically as decimals. Does anybody remember this topic? I've forgotten how to do it.

Jay- I'm talking about when you are drawing a line, setting rotation angle, etc. and you have to enter an angle value. I know you can enter as degree-minute-second as opposed to a decimal equivalent-symbols are used and the angle is converted to decimal.

Thanks for the help, Gary

Jay- I guess it helps to talk about a question and then something clicks. Yesterday I was trying to show one of our young NC guys how to enter d-m-s as a value and the old brain went dead. I guess it helps to use the help files in MCam, but that too EASY. I talked to you at the MC seminar at the Sportsman's Lodge a few months ago about Predator as a verifier for NC code. Gary
