I need an edited Haas post

If anyone has a Haas post for Mastercam 9 can I get a copy from you? I have the generic one for the Haas from Mastercam, but it puts allot of garbage in for codes. I want a post that is ironed out. Thank you!!

Have you asked your reseller? They are usually a VERY good resource for posts of "common" machines like this.

Have you thought of editing the generic post that you have? It really is the best way to get what you want....and once you get there you can say "hey bossman...lookit what I did " ~~~~~~~~~~Shady

If you put examples out here of what you want to change I'm sure people will point you in the right direction of how to edit the post. I have many times as recently as yesterday asked spicific post questions and received replys of the proper edits in less then a hour. I dont know the post language at all put after spending some time looking at the logic and with all the experiance on this forum you should be able to get the help you need. As for getting a free post I think you are better off asking your reseller

I use the generic Fanuc post without much code edits. I tried to tweak it but it's not as friendly as other MC posts.

Normally the only thing I change in the haas cd post is change

g28 z0 to g91g28 z0

 

and maybe disable c axis

I have to do some work on ours. coolant codes seem a little dumb. M9 wont shut off all coolant only flood

If you've got specifics on your wrinkles, we can probably help you get them ironed out. But it's rude to just ask for a post.
