Installed and running for a couple hours. So far so good.

Stand alone until the C-Hooks are updated. Once that happens, I'll kill both installs and go to a single instance. This will make romm for X3 when it reaches the Beta Stage. I honestly can't wait for that. Hoping the Mill-Turn stuff will be in there. I don't like to keep old versions. HDD space on my laptop is at a premium right now. Only 12GB free. Not enough space to defrag anymore.

 

I should be getting a new one here in the next few weeks though which will be nice.

great timing, just got my new laptop this afternoon. Wasn't sure if I wanted to wait for the official MR2 or load the beta. No question now.

They probably didn't change much 'cept for the Install/Migration Stuff. Which I didn't test anyway.

Why wouldn't chooks like Arc Multi edit work now in MR2?

 

I guess the wish list starts again for Verisurf Hole Axis, Arc Multi edit and X+ chooks for MR2

There's a chance they would but the CATIA RTeader, Moldplus, etc... Those are generally the C-Hooks that won't work. Now, woth that said, I've not tried them so I don;t know for sure, but in the past they've needed to be recompliled to function correctly if at all.

This is what I get withg my MR2 install.

If you've copied all the Verisurf chook files into the MR chook folder and you still get that error, you need to make a new icon.

Go into the Customise menu, find Verisurf

Hole Axis in the drop down, drag the icon onto

your toolbars and rename New Toolbar.

 

edit: there is a Verisurf folder in chooks, make sure you copy that over too.
