What's your preferred X3 (or 4) color scheme?

I've never really spent any time tinkering with the colors too much in Mastercam. Usually I just change the solid to poo brown, and the wireframe to a medium green, and use other colors for other features as needed. I still have the plain blue background.

Is there any particular color of solid or wireframe that you prefer, and why? What about the background color?

Black background. Usually dark gray(8) as the model color.

Me too! I use the bluish green color for my edge curves. Model on level one, all edge curves from the imported solid on level 2 then all drive geometry using yellow on separate levels. I'm a bit anal about organizing my files. Even the simple ones. smile.gif

Its funny how different programs look different....with Mastercam, black is the only thing I can stand to look at. In Solidworks, I use the default light bluish/gray backgound. I have tried Mastercam with that...but it looked like xxxx. I have tried Solidworks with the black...and it looked like xxxx.

I've tried vaaious gradient schemes

since X came out. I ran with a

black to grey horizontal gradient for a while,

but in the end, I always switch back to

flat black..

If you look at the the screen shots that

people post here, some guys are running screens

that look like a bad acid flashback..
