I believe something like that. We used to put it on shop computers but I got tired of re-installing it. It always takes them a while to get out the HLE whenever a new version comes out as well. Ended up just getting a hasp for the shop.

I read somewhere from CNC software that X7 HLE will not expire every 6 months like previous versions. It will eventually expire permanently sometime around the next release X8 or whatever name it ends up with.

It's normally only downloadable by a eStore customer but since you're one of ours I've given your account permission to do so.

Hey Rick,

 

Are you downloading the files in Internet Explorer by any chance? For some weird reason, IE doesn't like the X6 HLE 32bit download. I've tested it with Firefox and Chrome, it'll download and run without a hitch. But it gives me the same error you received when I do it in IE. If you click 'view downloads' or press "CTRL+J" while in IE, you can right-click on the file and say "run anyways". You can also copy the file directly from your downloads section to the computer you want to install it on and run it as usual.

I have a dumb question. What is the HLE capable of? Is the save function disabled?

 

If I offer it to our QE or some floor personal, I really don't what them changing anything and being able to save back over our original files.

It is not disabled just saves as a .emcx and dimensions are rounded to 1 decimal places.

Some of the functions are also locked out, not sure of all of them but some of the CHOOKS (coons surface at least), bolt circles, things like that.

If GE or the floor want use it for checking Dim they will have to learn ha to use the Analyze dim options to get true Dim . like stated if you use drafting it rounds them off and they will get burned.
