In all seriousness my new favorites are the SGS Multi flutes.. I use a 1 inch 11Flute on a job.. 1.9 inches deep x .075 wide by 400 IPM @ 2675RPM that's 52 Cubic Inches a Minute of 4340 being removed.. so yeah I am pretty impressed with them... well and with the machine I have the thing in that's able to push that endmill lol

I use primarily IMCO (525, 924) for steel and MA Ford (138, 134) for aluminum and they both work really well.

I had some come back from regrinding that were like that. Needless to say, we don't use that guy anymore

How do you know if they're for aluminum? Well there's a big melted glob of aluminum already on the end of 'em.

I have seen people use bottoming taps for roughing mills. They don't last long.
