Those things are special made for your feet out of special material that are molded for your foot. Going to spend the time and money to white light scan them and then think you are going to are going to make molds to cast the 2 part material in and then mold them and everything for less than $400? Sorry I got nothing to help you out on this one. Be interesting to see what my esteemed emastercam folks have to add to this one.

takes 5 minutes @work to scan them ,just thought it would be a neat project to do,make a couple pairs for each set of shoes, cant be that difficult just 3-d them with a ballnose:)

You're going to machine rubber/foam?

I've machined rubber, foam, and multiple types of urethane. The result are always less than desirable on the finish and fit no matter how you cut it.

That's why these types of things are molded.

Not trying to knock the hind out of your sails. Just my 2 pennies.

Have fun.

Use a 3D printer, or have them made by a 3D printing service. Very soon now I'm ordering a Robox 3D printer, which is a dual nozzle setup and can do two materials in one build. There are rubber-like filaments available, and sections of the part could be made softer by having a hollow / web structure or stiffer by including some rigid structure.
