I have had the same problem in X. Use a HS toolpath, not like results , want to go back to non-HS toolpath, and you cannot!
I had to go out and delete my NCI file to get past it! Regenerating did not work. When I posted file, HS feeeds were still in g-code. Renaming from OPS manager did not work. Had to use explorer to go to folder and delete file.

Try changing that one back to No indexing / Pre-stagetool. Mine are set to the no indexing and it works correctly. If you're posting correctly now then I'm guessing that segment was meant for calculating total cycle times. If I change it back to No indexing / Pre-stagetool, then I do not get prestaged tools.
I used to program for MAKINO several years ago, specifically on the A88's and I loved them. Very stable machines. Powerfull, rigid, easy to run and maintain.
Pulling my hair out trying to get tool to stage, using Generic Fanuc 3 Axis VMC post and control def.
Had all switches set right, or so I thought.
Finally changed the:
Machine Def. Mgr
|
Machine Configuration
|
Tool Changer Group
|
Automatic Tool Changer
|
Indexing Method
|
From "No indexing / Pre-stagetool"
To "Minimize index time"
and it began posting correctly. Is this the correct behaviour for this setting? Does the above setting mean "NO indexing / NO pre-stagetool"?

That's what keeps your job from getting too boring. [smile]
Amen to that!
I have to agree with adding parametric modeling. Which is not the same as parametric programming (for those unitiated). It can be quite time consuming to make a simple change to a model by going back to the 2d geometry vs clicking on dimension and changing value as I can in MDesktop. I would much prefer to drop my MDesktop and use X exclusively. I don't becasue of the need to change my models.
1st calm down, take a deep breath...
Then in ops manager there is an icon for toolpath display, should between lock and ghost...
pressing this should toggle toolpath display.
I just tried out both, and functionaly they appear the same. The Bolt Circle(x-MR2) appears to have a cleaner interface.
May be that the author is just learning to writwe c-hooks and wanted a orange to orange comparison?
