I have had this problem, however I always traced back to something I had done wrong. Usually when I changed tool numbers in the parameters page. I don't think I was making sure it updated correctly.

I was wondering if you were trying to remove the hole? When I used the net surf I got holes along the curves. You could use ruled surf(s) to cover the hole. Might have less holes.

I have to agree with the wear comp choice. Even when I use Mcam to code for prototraks I use wear comp.

Maybe a little clarification here: I have box font with create letter function. I donot have box font with draft note. Is this the same with you king...?

I copied my default fonts to a back up location then copied the new fonts to the default location (mcamxcommonfonts) and mcam find them without further effort. Did you remove your old fonts?

You may need to register the fonts with windows. I think right click font name from explorer or use icon in control panel, not sure. HTH

I use an editor that will automatically line up brackets, keeps me honest. I use Notepad++, freely downloadable, set to use the 'C' language.

Also: Should these lines be like this?: if mi4$ = 1, [ <<<<------Note bracket

The brackets are definitely mismatched. The brackets appear to be mismatched in the first 'else' statement. Might try flipping the one '[' and adding one ']'

I found mine at "C:mcamxdesignsolidslayouttemplate.mcx" HTH

Have you tried saving as a library and applying to new ops? My reseller just showed me how I can do that. I haven't tried it yet but it sounds like it would apply to what you are doing. HTH
