Mcam, If you have any specific problems, or "Bugs" I would be happy to take a look at them for you. I am using the X post do to the lower turret support. I still have our V9 post archived. Like I say anything that I can do just ask. Also consider contacting Martin Roderick, he is the Mazak Guru.. www.globalindsolutions.com is his webby.
I also like to have my Task bar hidden, I however realize that Windows and MC are what they are..... To make a long story short I simply use the "Restore down" function for the window then drag it to the maximum size that is out of reach of the task bar... took a hole 1hr to get used to, now it seems as if that is where the window belongs..
Happy Fathers Day all.......
Brett's Post Rocks..... Service after the sale is as good as the post itself, you need a fix or have a question, you wait 1-2 hours, and its done. I really have to say for the Integrex here is the best combo......
MR2 - Post from In-House - forget the box you used to think in, if you can't make it on an Integrex I would have to say it probally can't be made.......
We just tested a cutter that SECO CARBOLOY makes, single flute. We were running at 7000rpms, 140ipm, and 13mm doc per pass. We ran it on min. of 300 parts (over 600 minutes in cut). We stop using it, because we ran out of parts. It looks like it still has another 300 parts in it yet.
I'd build it, then you know what you got.... You may find yourself having to purchase a new system to upgrade with a (dell, compaq, gateway....) But upgrades are rather painless when you built it yourself.
IMHO
Dennis, First... Welcome to the forum....I think this would be a topic for the Mastercam Forum, not sure??? A few questions though.... If you goto the mastercam forum and read thads sticky it will help, What version are you running, and what add ons do you have IE.. mill lathe wire.... Perhaps if you placed the file on the FTP site we could all have a look and help you out. I would repost in the regular forum as well. Again welcome
Just for grins, have you tried to plot with any other software? We recently purchased a new HP plotter and its scaling is way off, I had to actually go back to the old 430 to get an accurate overlay.
I use both, original saved in one directory, autosave to root c: and backup to an entirely different directory..... Just overly cautious I guess. But I love the new feature.
OK, I got it had to remember open the file in MS Word, replace the ":" with "O" and do a file save answer yes to the pop-up, now open up the file in your default editor and you should be good to go
Chris for cut-off routines I usually create a point at the intersection of the 2 surfaces and select that point as my geometery. I use the options to create any chamfers or radi.
I see what you are saying about the cursor flashing after you hit enter, I notice if you mouse over the ops manager it will (enter) if you will the value into the field. Hope this helps.
