  1. For those that want the latest! https://my.mastercam.com/hubs/downloads/?download_type=mastercam-downloads
  2. Post a zip to go of your valid Mastercam file.
  3. Without a valid Mastercam file nothing can be determined.
  4. This is an older video but shows how to use the Active Report Designer.
  5. I would suggest the Gauge pins or Gauge blocks. Although Gauge Blocks would be not usable due to the slot being that small.
  6. Is the machine capable of holding that tolerance?
  7. I just opened the Generic Heidehain_TNC530 3 axis post with Cimco and the Coolant codes are searchable. You are opening the .pst file? When you downloaded the post did you get the matching Control Definition and Machine Definition? Just thinking why the changes @AHarrison1 suggested didn't work.
  8. What machine are you trying to set this up on? Your file has a Lathe machine on it.
  9. @Aaron Eberhard Suggested adding a Mastercam file to your request for help. If you can't share that exact file make something up similar. Honestly if you add a file here you will get many people offering you ideas and help.
  10. Sounds like you could use a simple contour toolpath with the compensation set to off, using axis substitution. If you download the free training materials from In-house there is an example of this in Exercise 3 of the Multi-Axis PDF.
  11. This is the difference between hypothetical and real world experience.... They will learn more from you in a few days then taking 5 courses.
  12. I put some Swept toolpaths on this file for an example. The 2" rad cutter would cut into the floor on the slope area so I switched to the 1" flat end mill. https://www.dropbox.com/s/0kmm5gk391ft6xi/test_JF.emcam?dl=0
  13. Best training is live from someone that can educate, demonstrate and get the students to engage (ask questions and follow the instructions). No amount of training replaces actual work experience IMHO.
  14. CamInstructor is good. https://caminstructor.com/ In-House is offering their training materials for free now.
  15. You can make a back-up copy of your un-edited Control Definition, Machine Definition and Post Processor. Put this in a directory where you can locate it. Here is a video on how to make a copy and rename an existing Control Definition, Machine Definition and Post Processor. If you want to rename the changed solution to an new name.
  16. Typically the Control and Machine Definitions are saved in this directory. C:\Users\Public\Documents\shared Mcam2019\CNC_MACHINES
  17. Attaching a Mastercam file is the best way to get help. List the machine you are going to use and the material etc..
  18. I didn't test an assembly. I assume being an assembly changes it. I usually move most items to the level that I assign and label, I know extra work and clicks!
