In the past I have always downloaded and burned to a CD; making it easier to upgrade multiple computers. I noticed this time the downloaded file was to small. So I told it to run from the website and it work. I really need the actual file to put on a CD to install on other computers (some are stand alones with no network or internet access).

How accurate does it have to be? I know Mastercam, UG and ProE will not output a true 1:1 drawing. They all use a converter of some type which takes away from the accuracy. We keep an old version of IceM around just for this. We have to create overlays for our optic comparitors.

If you put a "`" at the beginning of the machine def name it will put that machine at the top of the list. HTH

I downloaded them yesterday. Went to install X2MR1 and it blew up right off the bat. Now it will have to wait til next week. Oh well.

Same here. We are currently using a v9 updated post on our 4x horiz Mori. At first we had the same prob. rotation was locked on A. Changed the machine def then worked fine. Can you share the fix? I would like to switch to the newer defs and posts. Thanks -
I only use solid toolpathing for the most basic. Surfaces has been much more reliable and accurate (for me), especially on multiaxis. Place your solid on one level, change levels, change color (I like the dark green), then go Create > Surface > Surface from Solid. IMHO

I like to use the holeaxis.dll c-hook. You just select the inside of the hole and it creates a center axis of the hole. great for 5 axis holes.

The ground side of the circuit is very important, i.e.: cables, wires, mated surfaces, bolt threads... Also, are you using tap water or RO/DI water?

What do you have selected in the Stock Recognition box in the toolpath perameters? I believe Disable Stock Recognition is the default.

I found if I paint my tools orange I don't lose them as easily.
