Thad and All,
Yes I am running Format 2, It's easier for me to understand, being of Fanuc Based Programming for 9 years.
I will try it as posted in fresh air and let you know what I find.
I haven't run the machine much so am not very experienced in it.
Just saw this on the MC website............................
IMTS 2008 features the unveiling of the next generation of Mastercam CAD/CAM software – Mastercam X3. Attendees will get a first look at Mastercam’s new Feature Based Machining (FBM), the new Mastercam in SolidWorks product, as well as the Mastercam X3 release. All will be showcased in booth # D-3027 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, September 8-13.
and wondered when we, The Paying Customers are going to get to see it????
Hi Thad,
This may be so.
It's just that one shouldn't have to go to so much trouble to find it.
I even searched the help contents and couldn't find it.
It's not really a Break Function. More of a Convert Function.
Just a thought.
I was really struggling with this yesterday.
I just tried break many and set tol to 0.002 and amount to one and it created a line.
This what I would have expected, however it is kinda hidden in a function that doesn't shout out convert.
It would be good if it were on it's own.
