  1. are you wanting to make a round bowl? go into front view and create your geo for half of it, make sure it is a closed chain with the centre say at origin. Then go to iso view and revolve your chain around the center line, using solids/revolve. Let me know if you need more assisstance.
  2. It all depends on the kind of control you have. Some older controls do not accept R's
  3. For your first question. Config, Dimensions and Notes. Change in there and that is now your default. Your second question is not clear to me.
  4. Greg, I'm not sure I undersatnd what you mean by quote: while having the diameter of the tool on the cursor

  16. Chip, What are you actually trying to do? What is the end result actually for?
  17. For me it all depends where I am likely to want to reference from during the machining process. I am routering, so I prefer table as zero.
  18. what about Transforming the original, however many times you want, where ever you want. The keystrokes are still there, you just have to mouse over the ribbon bar and they appear. HTH.
  19. Randle, are you talking post language? Do you have an example of code that is acceptable? If so, I would e-mail it to your REp or even Mastercam themselves and ask the question. HTH.
  20. Hello All, Does anyone know of a need for contract design work? I use MCX2 level 3 and solids. I can do toolpath also. Just coming to the end of the road for my current line of work and wondering what is out there. TIA.
  21. One thing that has been mentioned in the past, and worked for me, is to make sure the path for your Definitions files are correct. The best way to check this is to go into the machine def, then control def, then hit save as, not save. make sure the path is to the new install and save. then close control def, and do the same to the machine def. Do it in this order only. HTH.
