Roger,
It's working fine for me now in all instances.
However before re-booting the computer it didn't matter what I did, I had to CTL-ALT-DEL and stop mastercam.
Thought I'd poke my nose in if thats ok.
It was my Topic.
I do not start topics very often and I'm quite annoyed it has gone this way.
I was just trying to get a little knowledge as to when we might expect the next release.
I am grateful that there are enough knowledgable people here to help me out from time to time.
I have been using Mastercam for about 9 years now, started with V7.
It has come leaps and bounds in 9 years.
I can't afford Solid works so i do everything with Mastercam, and I mean everything.
2D
3D
Blueprints with Winline from Mastercam
Toolpaths
Solids
Surfaces etc etc.
It gets it done for me
To all that are griping about mastercam, try and have input instead of bitching.
Most of us old timers have had changes made and improvements have come as a result of our efforts.
You don't have to be a Beta tester to have input, the guys at CNC are always in here helping out and they take things back to there guys and so on.
Ok, I feel better now.
Cheers.
Todd,
I didn't take a look at your model
However when filleting there are some golden rules.
Always put your big fillets in first.
If you put small fillets first the big ones can interupt or remove an edge and that will not work.
The other thing is that if you examone your solid un-shaded, you will see how big of a fillet is possible, again if there are visible edges or curves then you will not be able to encroach on these.
I hope this helps you understand filleting better.
Hello All,
I searched high and low for this.
Can someone tell me how to change many arcs all with the same color to a certain diameter.
I'm sure it's doable but just can't seem to find the answer.
Cheers.
This just came via e-mail.
I thought we were really close to a release, but this doesn't sound promising, can someone shed some light on it
Mastercam X3 has just entered enthusiastic beta testing, and we’re getting a lot of positive feedback on the many new benefits that the software delivers. Stay tuned – we’ll have continuing updates in future issues of the Mastercam News Flash.
If you do a search on Video Cards, you will find that the preferred chipset is NVIDIA.
I know this doesn't really help you, however, you might want to cut your frustration level and get a new card.
Ok, I have it installed.
I'm sure I must be doing something wrong.
I made a note in one file, however the same note was there when I opened up a different file.
Any Ideas?
