One other thing I noticed is once it has processed ( when it shouldn't have) the clock icon is still there and so I go into the params and uncheck batch, and then I get a red x through the toolpath (which I should get), But why have to process twice?????
Hello All, I've run into this a couple times now.
When I want to process a few paths at the same time, I click on to batch, but still the path processes.
Is anyone else experiencing this.
TIA, Lee
Hello All,
I am not a newby to Mastercam, however this one stumps me all together, and apparently my reseller also.
I restarted mastercam yesterday morning and ever since then it out puts garbage to the Nc File as follows.
N100 G00 G17 G20 G40 G80 G90
N110 G92 X0. Y0. Z0.
N120 G28 C0. Totally new line, was never there before
N140 (MAX - Z.5)
N150 (MIN - Z0.)
N160 G00 G17 G90 Z.5
and then when ever a rapid Z move is needed this happens.
N320 X5.99 I5.99 J0.
N330 G00 Z.5 C0. C0. added
N340 G28 C0. New line
N350 X7.5
Anyone have ideas?
Much appreciated as it has stopped me from machining totally.
one other thing it started doing at the same time, maybe a clue...........
I have two ops, both selected.
post all.
after closing NC file there is another box open to save another posted file and in my ops just the last op is selected.
I close said saving box and both my ops become selected as before.
very strange.
Hello All,
This very frustrating.
Been using X3 since it came out, Flawlessly, until now.
I now get an extra G-00 where it has vever been before.
Please someone help me get it out of there.

Thanks Lee.
I use logitech.
No problems at all.
I wish I could find one without the zoom at the left of the keyboard as this is where my left hand is all the time.
I have masking tape over it.

Those are the errors, or close to, that are being generated.
However the screw was severe in the machine cut into the solid and so I filled back in, then posted with another def and all was ok.
I didn't do a compare of the two files though.
The machine didn't lose psition either so it was the NC file.
ideas?
lots of errors, change of post variables and somehow a screwed up nc file.
if I use another machine I have no probs.
so I wanted to take all those files and change the name to the one I am having probs with.
make sense?
Hello All,
since moving to X3 I am having difficulty with one of my machine defs/posting.
Can someone tell me what files are used in total for posting.
I have tried re-naming the mach def, control def, and post but still gives greif.
Is there a number of files I am missing?
Thanks in Advance.
What I meant was migrating the files by importing directory as per docs supplied.
I also had to update the posts as per posts on this forum.
Let me know what else you need.
