  1. Remember right If you have select code and leave it highlighted it can be printed but don't know about the double twin turret.
  2. I don't know about a post but I was looking at there SyncLathe for wait codes but I every time I email them nothing, and I tried it about 5 times. There product looks pretty good to but no customer service at all.
  3. Here is another way I thought about, Create a rectangle and when you extrude that don't check the merge results when you are give it's depth.
  4. I would create a assembly one of the part the other of the box and mate them together. That's one way.
  5. Can you please show an example of what to change? I understand (some what) the configuration in the post. The letters on top correspond to the letters on the bottom so you can customize your post to mimic of how your machine is set upped. But to change the Z? I do not know how to change that. Here is the machine's axis plate to show what I have. Also, in the lanthtype what one would I choose? But does this define what and where the primary turret and spindle is if so, does this effect the turret and spindle location or does it not matter? lathtype : 0 #Lathe turret and spindle selection #0 = Bottom turret/Left spindle #1 = Top turret/Left spindle #2 = Bottom turret/Right spindle #3 = Top turret/Right spindle Thanks
  6. I have a quick question for you guys I made a post for my tsugami bu25 but, I need to change the Z so the post out opposite of what the usual lathe post out. How would I do this? Example: Right now with the Z being negative G0 T1515 G18 M8 G97 S2000 M03 G0 G54 X.1223 Z.025 G50 S2000 G96 S275 G99 G1 Z0. 7. Copy your geometry ( lines, arcs and splines ) as needed trim what you don't want and copy your toolpath op and replace the tool and the chain. regenerate it and call it done
  8. We bought the post from the reseller. Were they get it from it's up to them I think.
  9. In House Solution has one great out of the box. That what I use for mine never tweaked much it expect for the header.
  10. I always thought that there was two formats that were basic for CMMs, one being a stl and the other is iges might want to check on that. I know after that the CMM companies charge you for other formats like .X_T parasolids.
  11. You can right click the top of toolpath group (just above the properties) and you will see edit select operation and from there you left click, renumber work offsets. just make sure you have all the toolpath check first.
  12. First of all, thanks for all your efforts in getting this issue fixed. Shooting you an email right now, I willing to do a go2 meeting and show you how I'm getting this issue.
  13. The weird part is that it was working great until I screwed with it to make a change in the control def. I don't know if it's a bug or not, but I never had this happen before to me. At least I'm not going crazy, but it did take 2 hours out of my day trying to figure this thing out.
  14. A little history, I keeping my machine def, control def and post outside of Mastercam in a server that this company gives every employee. The reason why I have a guy on second shift who likes to think he can program since he took the Mastercam lathe class had screwed up my lathe stuff a couple months back. So there it went into a protected place to jell out. Now i installed Mu2 the other day. I had to make a change so I made a changed after saving it I notice the control def was missing. Ok thought I screwed up some how, so I paste and copied it to my folder went through the whole thing again pointing everything to each other: looks good and all. I go check it again the control def is pointing to the generic control def in Mastercam again. I did this about 5 times even created a whole new one twice and i go back to the folder it's gone. Any of you guys having this problem?
  15. Hello Guys, I maybe given this task today, so I was wondering how hard will it be to create a custom macro to serialize a part 1 through 1000 on a Tornos Screw machine? I will be milling it and I have a y axis. I never wrote a macro before so it will be all new to me so be easy on me please. THanks Rob
  16. I was wonder if any of you guys can help me put in a header to my Mazak post. I know that it usually goes in the pheader. But I tried putting it there and I'm getting nothing. I tried a lot of difference thing like removing the # signs in front of different lines and I can not get that to post out with any of them.
  17. Yea, right click in the operation manager and you will see display options. on the lower left, there is thing called highlight geometry. check them and pick the color you desire.
  18. I haven't started a post for some time so I hope I'm putting it in the right place. Is it possible to create c axis holders for a lathe and bring them into Mastercam for the mill/turn for backplot? If so how?
  19. Here are some pics of the dms that I programmed a while ago. One is 6 to 8 months old and other is brand new the juice was not even hooked up yet. http://i696.photobuc...66/DSCN0883.jpg http://i696.photobuc...66/DSCN0882.jpg http://i696.photobuc...66/DSCN0881.jpg
  20. It would great! I will post some pic that I have of the DMS with some part on them. When I get home today.
  21. The place I worked for bought one a big mistake! From the tool changer being on the left side and not following the head making tool change a long ordeal. We had to buy another machine 6 months later and we went with a dms. Great machine.
