  1. We have an old Harig that we use a 5c spindex on ALL the time. Carbide and HSS. The smallest I've relieved on it is Ø.0625. You have good eyes?
  2. Hmm, no change. Turns off on retract from Milling OPs. No M9 for drilling OPs
  3. Oh, just On/Off. Although I tried an MP Master MD which used X-Style, and I tried using the de-bugger to pin down where the M9 was located, but it didn't work out very how I wanted. Also, I don't like all those coolant options, just On or Off in the locations I prefer. Thanks for the clarity on the coolant styles MIL
  4. Hey Ron, thanks for the reply. I'm using the MPMaster shown below. As for Coolant process, I'm unsure.
  5. Hey Guys, How do I set my coolant to turn off upon retract to feed plane when milling, although it works fine drilling. I used the debugger but I couldn't get the M9 to stick. Maybe "scoolant"? 6. I would LOVE to have something like this given to us. According to this video and the music...they ROCK
  7. Thanks guys! I'll try all this in the morning.
  8. I haven't had to create a tool lately, but I can't seem to save a tool in a custom library or a standard 9 library. Wouldn't I just use the tool manager, Create new endmill, define it and save?

  10. Hey guys, I'm working on moving from an OLD generic Haas post to a recent MP Master Millpost. I want to put M8 on it's own line with a block delete. 11. Thanks Guys, I came in to ask something similar and this answered 2 of my questions.
  12. HA! Well if it works....until it doesn't work. Geez, the main shop is still holding onto a few Fadals that should have been cut up 15 years ago.
  13. Hey Guys, thanks for all the replies. I've been hesitant to switch posts because of all the mods I've made over the years to my Generic Haas. I switched to MP Master, and am slowly trying to add-in all the features I had with my old post. BTW, A-axis output works now I'll start a new thread on some help I need with this post.
  14. Any suggestions on how I can fix the A position in my program?
  15. Yessir No Axis sub, just X-form Toolpath>Rotate by Toolpane. It's rotary work, but more like flat ro-tab work. I'm basically drilling holes in a wheel, with the machine making 1 Y move to position on the bolt circle, then drilling and boring, and moving to the next hole via A-axis rotation. We're trying to see if we can hold a tight TP this way instead of having the table move to each position. Is my post set-up why the A move is in with the drilling move?
  16. Actually, that A positioning move needs to happen sooner.
  17. Hey Guys, my current Post positions the A-axis when I'm down on the part. Where in the post do I move my A positioning move? I'm using a Generic Haas Post. I don't want to switch posts because of all the work I've done to this one. 18. G80 is on the following line. Cancels the canned cycle every move, just the way I'm set-up. I suppose it could be a canned cycle, but I'm not going to bother.
  19. Colin- Even though I'm outputting A-axis moves, won't standing it up basically turn it into a C axis? I used a transform toolpath, "Tool Plane Method" and got this: 1 work offset with all the rotations look good to me! 20. Hey Guys, I want to stand my HA5C up on end and use is as a C-Axis to hold some tight TP on a bolt circle. Basically want to make 1 "X" move, then just use the rotary motion to position all the holes. What would be the best way to do this? In my drilling OP, I activated Rotary Axis Control and chose Rotary Axis Positioning>Rotate around "Z" axis. I got no change. Thanks!
  21. Thanks rr, much appreciated. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to get this corporation to go thru the motions to get this software.
