Okay got it. Is it necessary to make a plane for each hole, or can I make one for each angle? (2 holes per)
Also, how can I stop MC from assigning a new work offset to each plane?
Hey Guys, First time drilling with a rotary axis in my VMC. I included a sample file I'm working on. Do I use 5axis drill or normal drill toolpath with rotary positioning? I have a multi-axis seat.
The current file I used 5axis drill. I tried using lines and surface for tool axis control. I tried hole axis vectors and points for cut pattern, but I'm not really getting anywhere and I keep getting the error below.

Okay, I went deeper into the MD and in the config tree turned, unchecked b and c axes. I finally got code and does this look correct? I just posted a snippet. From the looks of the code, it's going to have a hell of an unwind in the end, or can I set it to not? The last rotary move is :

Ok JP, I just moved the part to the system right side and positioned it how I want it, and changed the rotary axis in the OP to X. Motion and toolpath, retracts look great. I never used a rotary with my current Post and I keep getting this error:
I unchecked C and B axes in the MD machine configuration. I still get the error. Do I need to turn a switch on in the post? I'm using MP Master Generic 4 axis post
Hey Guys, Is it possible to surface the sample attached with a BEM and use 3 or 4 axis. I've tried a few Multiaxis toolpaths "rotary", "curve", "morph between 2 curves" When looking at my sample, the dashed green line extends to the origin so it's basically a can. TIA I have an HA5C rotary for this.

I'm trying JPs Finish Blend Converted toolpath. 1st issue is the tool starts down at the bottom of the radius and works up. I tried reordering the chain selection, but it didnt help. Also, when I posted, I got the below error.
Starting position
Hey guys. Well, the job is back again and we finally have an indexer on order. (A axis) Can I simply activate axis substitution with this blend toolpath? I tried it and the tool is coming from the back and a bunch of other crazy stuff. Tips on where to start converting this into a rotary toolpath? TIA
I added a sample file to the OP. I'm gonna run the blend. I extended 1 blend line over .015 and it looks better. Now to make a fixture and cut the darn thing.
I used blend and got a toolpath going, but upon verify, the tool just doesn't travel far enough to finish the entire face. I think the drop angle may be messing it up. I attached a sample of the geo in question to the original post
