  1. How the f do I generate a linking code to DL X8? I keep getting errors.
  2. Nevermind, I ended up using the Trim method, worked awesome.
  3. Thanks guys, I'll remember this stuff for later. I ended up extending the runoff end about .250, and then untrimmed the endcap to block it.
  4. Thanks Greg. That worked, but you see the end surface on the left in the pic where it's turning through? I want to avoid that area completely and just have a u shaped toolpath of the 3 angled surfaces. Turning that end surface into a check surface just makes some crazy moves.
  5. I'm trying to surface finish the 3 green external angled surfaces together using a .375 bullnose with a .0312 cr. I can't figure out how to keep the toolpath from going inside as shown in the picture. The transition fillet between the vertical wall and the angled surface on the long sides is R.06 3SURFACE SAMPLE.MCX-7
  6. Thanks guys, but I only see an L1 length of 2.5"
  7. I'm looking for a CT40 1.5"dia, integral shank tool with 3-4" of reach. Hopefully a BDX style Mitsubishi. I couldn't find anything in the mits catalog. TIA
  8. I can't zig-zag since bushes are in the way, so I have to stick to one direction only, and negative stock on the sidewalk so I get complete cutting.
  9. Don't they do the production stuff in Fremont?
  10. YES! Now the question is, are they in Palo Alto, Fremont or Lathrop?
  11. I can't seem to find this one. Google-Fu is lacking and so is Machinist Handbook. What you guys got for me? Calculation is showing .148, but I'd like something more definite.
  12. I always use a 2nd tool(edger) for finishing the outer contour and an additional operation (string trimmer) to re-machine near the steps.
  13. Wahh, I have a VF2 and a compound sine plate
