Dimensioning problem is back. Happened on a different file.
EDIT:
I created my own profile, named it mycad and I was able to uncheck back buffer. Opened file that I could not dimension previously and it worked.WOO HOO
gcode,
I reinstalled driver 84.26, changed profile to AutoCad, still can't unchecked back buffer but backplotting is working fine at the moment. Was also having trouble dimensioning, would kick me out of MC, but that is fixed for the moment.

Download the latest greatest drivers from Nvidia , uninstall your current drivers, reboot, say no when Windows wants to "fx it", then install the new drivers.
Did it.

Go into the Nvidia Advanced/performance settings and disable Unified back/ depth buffer or
backplot won't run right.
Still can't disable it.

One thing a lot of people forget to do... When installing new video drivers, uninstall the old ones first, reboot then install the new ones.
thru control panel - add/remove or right click on desktop - settings - adapter - properties - driver - uninstall.
Thanks for your help. I'm so

ON START UP, I ALSO HAVE MY START/EXIT SETING SET FOR THE MACHINE THAT I WANT. I WOULD LIKE TO START MASTERCAM AND HAVE MY MACHINE SET. This should be set in default machines, there is no setting for machines in that tab you have stated, if I'm reading you right.
In mr2 you can see the button that is active as being depressed. In x2 the 'greyed out' button, I'm being told is the active button. I liked the mr2 better, imo.
Try this. Select create a surface from solid. Uncheck the 3 buttons to the left of the select last button, makes them grey out,and then move your cursor over the solid. Mine hi-lites the back face.
This also happens when creating curves all edges.
Thanx for the help.
When creating a surface from solid, I hi-lite single face and then select a face on the solid, but then surfaces are created on the whole solid.
I then have select body hi-lited ,just a single face is created into a surface.
mr2 works fine. X2 doesn't work the same.
When you move your mouse over a solid in X MR2 it hi-lites the whole solid, but in X2 it hi-lites faces making you think it is surfaces.
Is there a switch to hi-lite as in X MR2? Just curious.
