Razor,
When you "save some", this saves just geometry that you have selected and not the toolpaths to a new name. Then you have to do a "file, get" to open new file you've just saved and will have your new name when you go to post your toolpaths.

I have a surface that I am using surface contour toolpath and it is gouging the part on one side and not on the other side. I have uploaded a file called G-3_trode.mc9. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Hi Chad,
I agree with Mold100 and Tony. We use a vacuum system on our grinders and shop vacs at the milling machines. We also have a Bostomatic for high feed and high speed milling of graphite only. We use Graphel 3800 series mostly.
Have plenty of soap around to wash hands, it is very dirty and messy shi*.

I found when I change posts from one drawing to another, I get the error message mp.dll not found, so then I close MC and restart it.
So does anybody save their nci files at all?

Hi forum members,
I can't seem to sfc the outside of my trode. It wants to machine the inside instead of the outside.I have uploaded the file called trode problem.zip to the ftp site in the mc9_files folder.
Have updated to latest patches(07-01-02)
Thanks for any input,
Guy

When downloading the file and exploding it, the files that are being replaced, are they overwritten or just the info added on to it. I don't want to lose my mill9.cfg
Thanks
Guy
