i belive the average commute is 45 minutes im lucky i live 9 miles from work ..my company moved to this location 7 years ago at the last location i was 1.2 miles from work and used to ride my bike to and from and home for lunch when we moved here i remember complaning about the commute i guess ill keep my mouth shut !!!!!GO FLYERS(had to get one in)hey bulliness hoping to see your flames in the cup finals !!!
that stuff is called SEABOARD or king board its a kind of uhmwpe....
(ultra high molecular weight poly ethelene) with a uv (ultra violate ) protecter in it ..we cut this stuff all the time its the best plastic to work with ever ...that my storie and im sticking to it!!! it finishes great high rpms and a good fast feed with sharp hss tooling and you cant go wrong it also comes in a variatie of colors !!!!and they all cut as good as the white
WOW punch tape and anicam i remember them both about 20 years ago !!!i saved a roll of the punch tape and ever once in a while ill show the young ones what it used to take to run a nc machine from back in the day ...i also think we still have the anicam software somewhere up in the engineering attic ??????waiting to hear the answer to this one
i use libraries also... but for what you are doing items like cabinets just differnt sizes i make a blank mc9 file with the basic geo and toolpathes then just import my autocad file into the blank mcam file and add the geo to the operations in the opmanager that suit the cabinet being made just an other take on it... works great for family of part s
exactly HACSTA... its the switch that locates the tool one position this happened to us..there is a boss with an adjustment screw it could of backed out a little ??and gave the switch a little TO MUCH contact we keep then in stock had to replace ones on the mini mill also if you remove that front cover its right in front to the right get a volt meter and test to see if its working ...
i have a timer in the cam room and some times ill come back from loading up the machine and set the timer in the office for the cycle time to ring to remind me to check the machine ...
