the ability to instantly decide how many work pieces to post for after only doing tool paths for one part. When you are ready to post teh job Gibbs simply asked how many locations you wanted and it was a done you can do this with out translating anything if you use the mpsubrep .pst on the site you just fill out how many pieces and what offset number to start with in the 1 op in misc intergers thats it ill do 1 pc prove it out on the machine then go back to mcam edit if needed then fill in the blanks in the first op and wala it post it out for multi parts and offsets
also the mpsubrep .pst available on this site works great!!!ill do one pc go to machine run and fine tune if needed then back in mcam fix it up to what i did on the shop floor then in misc inter on the first op set for how many parts and what offset #'s to start with it may need some tweeking to run for a fadel(e1-e2-e3) but check it out or what the others have said work good too!!!
we have this problum also ive gone and loaded a differnt mc9 file then gone and got the sw file off my hard drive and reloaded that file and this seams to free up the file in sw for the enginears to work on i dont know if sw2005 will fix this we just started to use it i didnt have this problum before mcam v9 and sw 2004 ????some times ive had to exit out and come back in to free up the sw file ????or maybe X will solve this im not sure weather its a sw or mcam or a combo of both that is doing this ...anyone else have this problum

Beta 4 of Mastercam X is what's up. Once that releases, the SW 2005 converter is next up for release - it's already been mostly tested and approved so the tentative release date is Nov 8. It will be available from dealers at that time and about a week later directly from the website -----Original Message-----
