  3. i belive there is a cd you can purchase from your distributor
  4. gene in parameters page after picking that pst file. under misc values tab it will explain ??i=g54 then it shows for how many repeats g55 g56 g57 etc??try again this works we always programe one part then pst thru here for multi work offsets [ 10-21-2002, 05:56 PM: Message edited by: MACHINEMASTERG ]

  6. we cut plastics her and as far as polishing the stuff try baby powder and water works good!!
  7. we also have had bad luck with this feature in v9 we use the subrep pst file from this site works great for multi work offset programming
  8. we keep these files and our mc9 files on our server and backup on our c: drives just in case server goes dowm!!! like that never happens

  15. not sure exactly what your saying maybe when you chain you should look in options for plane mask etc... to add pcs you need to create some geometry???
  16. if you get other entites in your window you can hit options and color mask or entite mask etc... etc.. hope that helps
  17. hold on!!! just toolpathed bunch of circles with window and entered a search point at the top of the screen then 2nd op for chamfer again window select but search point at bottom and it reversed my path between holes try that
  18. i dont think you can reverse the order of your chains like drilling you have to goto chain mng and drag the order probubly faster to rechain as sperate op ive also tried this noluck??
  19. we moved from smartcam to mcam ten years ago!! its seemless with your many years at this type of work you will be up and cutting in no time

  21. in job setup pick your stock boundrys then your origin should fix your verify if it looks to job set up for stock definition not scan nci

  23. plot your points for your rise and fall dwell etc some people get this info from specific cam generating software pkg then put a spline thru it then i modify ,break many pcs to a lenth of like .01 then delete spline and toolpath that! you can tighten that up depending on the finish
  24. the pro's great for production and grouping of parts but we found the best part being quick change over from job to job one pallet holds our rotary one pallet has the vices other pallet hold repeaters etc.. etc..the cons some after market systems are cumbersome in front of the machine. if it comes from the manfacture built on there good. but what we did was buy an after market pallet reciever and there cart recievers and made a 2 paalet recieving cart on a die table able to load it and unload by spining cart and put pallet on storage racks easily great for setup reduction... sorry for the rant but this gets me going
